trip to honolulu and kaua'i

As with most trips to the islands, our trip to Kaua'i actually started in Honolulu on Oahu. (Oahu means "the gathering place.") This photo was taken from the lanai of our hotel room at the Ali'i Tower of the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki.

Now we're in Kaua'i. This is a picture of the salt water "lagoon" at our hotel, the Hyatt Regency at Poipu Beach.
