family reunion

Every year our family travels to California to see our West Coast relatives on both my mother's and father's sides. The timing is set by an annual Memorial Day reunion at my father's cousin's house near Visalia.

the routine

By tradition, we start out in Santa Monica (my home town), head up to Visalia, and finish in Las Vegas. This year, I flew out a few days early to San Diego to visit some friends. Suzie and the boys met me later in Santa Monica.
